Hi! I’m Deanna—born and raised in Michigan, and a lifelong animal lover with a special place in my heart for dogs. My journey into the world of dog treats began with my best friend, Ike, a goofy and loyal rescue pup who shared 12 amazing years with me before passing in April 2024 at the age of 14.

What started as a simple way to give Ike healthier, preservative-free snacks soon became a passion. After losing him, I knew I wanted to honor his memory in a meaningful way—by sharing that same love, care, and quality with other pet parents.

That’s how NoseyBones Barkery was born.

​

Over the past year, I’ve dedicated myself to doing this right. I completed a professional barkery course, earned my state license, and committed to creating natural, wholesome treats that dogs love and humans can trust. No fillers. No artificial ingredients. Just tail-wagging goodness made from real, recognizable foods.

Growing up, I was always bringing home strays (despite my mom reminding me “we can’t save them all!”). But I’ve always believed in trying. Every dog I’ve loved has been a rescue, and each one has left paw prints on my heart. Most days, I’m not sure who rescued who.

​

The name NoseyBones comes from Ike himself—his curious, nosey personality inspired it all. He had to know everything that was going on, and he always wanted to be part of the fun. This business, this mission, is for him.

​

So here’s to Ike—gone, but never forgotten. And here’s to all the good boys and girls who deserve something special.
